Build a defensible safety record for every job.

DroneSMS guides commercial operators through hazard assessment, flight preparation, crew coordination, and job closeout. When the work is complete, it creates a professional PDF operations packet.

A checklist shows what you checked.

DroneSMS documents how you managed the operation.

Most commercial operators have flight logs and preflight checklists. Far fewer have one consistent record showing what hazards were identified, what decisions were made, who was briefed, and how the job concluded.

From planned job to completed record.

DroneSMS organizes the process without turning fieldwork into paperwork.

  1. 01

    Create the operation

Enter the client, location, aircraft, crew, service type, and planned flight date.

  2. 02

    Follow the guided workflow

Complete the applicable hazard assessment, airspace review, preflight checks, crew briefing, and operational documentation.

  3. 03

    Export the record

Generate a version-stamped PDF packet for your company files, client, insurer, or other authorized stakeholder.

One operation.
One organized record.

01

Operation summary and crew assignment

02

Job Hazard Analysis and risk controls

03

Airspace and authorization record

04

Preflight inspection and crew acknowledgments

05

Incident or no-incident closeout

06

Supporting records and photographs, when applicable

Completed forms are time-stamped and retained with the applicable template version, creating a clearer record of what was known, decided, and completed.

Use a consistent safety process without building one from scratch.

DroneSMS is designed for solo pilots and growing UAS companies performing inspection, cleaning, mapping, infrastructure, and other commercial work.

Aviation-grade structure, made usable in the field.

DroneSMS is modeled after the four pillars of aviation Safety Management Systems: Safety Policy, Safety Risk Management, Safety Assurance, and Safety Promotion.

Operators do not need to study SMS terminology or work through an airline-style system. The sophistication stays behind a plain-language, guided workflow designed for everyday Part 107 operations.

Bryce standing in front of a historic aircraft

DroneSMS was built because commercial operators need more than another checklist.

I'm Bryce, an FAA Part 107 remote pilot, Army veteran, and safety professional with experience in regulatory fieldwork, inspections, risk assessment, and emergency response. I hold a degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University focused on occupational and aviation safety.

I built DroneSMS to make rigorous aviation safety practices practical, understandable, and usable in everyday commercial drone operations.

Help shape a practical safety system for commercial drone work.

DroneSMS is preparing for a limited beta with commercial operators interested in testing real-world workflows and providing direct feedback.
